How to Connect to StackCore
Choose your preferred method to start playing on our server.
Recommended: Use Our Launcher
The fastest way to get started. The launcher handles everything automatically — realmlist, cache, updates and more.
Manual Setup (Step by Step)
If you prefer to set things up yourself, follow these steps:
Step 1 — Create an Account
You need an account to log into the game and our website. Click here to register, or create one directly from the launcher.
Step 2 — Install World of Warcraft
You need a World of Warcraft client compatible with our server. Download the retail client from Blizzard’s website and make sure it is fully updated.
Step 3 — Set the Realmlist
You can set the realmlist automatically using our launcher, or manually:
Windows
Open your WoW folder, navigate to the WTF folder, and edit Config.wtf with Notepad. Find or add:
macOS
Open Finder, go to /Applications/World of Warcraft/WTF/ and edit Config.wtf with TextEdit. Find or add:
Step 4 — Play!
Launch Wow.exe (Windows) or the World of Warcraft app (macOS) and log in with the account you created. See you in Azeroth!

Troubleshooting
- "Unable to connect" — Make sure the realmlist is set correctly. Use our launcher for automatic setup.
- "Disconnected from server" — Try clearing your WoW Cache folder, or use the Clear Cache button in our launcher.
- "Incompatible version" — Make sure your WoW client is fully updated to the latest version.
